Subjects covered by the Library include:-

  • Liability and compensation
  • Contingency planning
  • Fate & effects of oil
  • Clean-up operations & techniques
  • Environmental impact of oil spills
  • Case histories
  • Statistics

We subscribe to several journals, including the Oil Spill Intelligence Report, Marine Pollution Bulletin, Maritime Risk International and Fish Farming International, and regularly receive newsletters from P&I Clubs and industry associations. We have a small collection of videos and DVDs (specific incidents, equipment, training etc.) which may be viewed on the premises and a large number of nautical charts, pilots, marine atlases and coastal sensitivity maps. Photocopying facilities are available but we regret that items cannot be borrowed from the Library.
