ITOPF's Chairman

Paddy Rodgers has been ITOPF's Chairman since March 2014 and served on its Board of Directors since 2011.

Paddy is the Chief Executive Officer of Euronav NV, one of the world's leading independent tanker companies. Euronav owns and manages a fleet of 55 vessels, employs over 2,800 people worldwide onshore and offshore and has offices through Europe and Asia. In 2015, it was listed on the New York stock exchange and the same year won Lloyd's List's global award as company of the year.

Paddy Rodgers began his career as a lawyer, starting practice in 1984 and moving to Hong Kong in 1986 where he worked as a solicitor. In 1990 he joined the CMB group as an in-house lawyer and subsequently as Shipping Executive. Paddy became CEO of Euronav in 2000, having been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the predecessor to the company in 1998.

In 2016 Paddy was honoured by the Connecticut Maritime Association as CMA Commodore of the Year for his corporate achievements and "personal efforts to communicate the best version of the industry". He has topped Tanker Trade & Shipping's list of the 50 most influential people in the tanker industry for two years running and took a top 10 spot in Lloyd's List's equivalent poll last year.
